Introduction	Established in 1962, the Federation of Student Islamic Societies is a body that caters for the needs of 90 000 Muslim students in further and higher education across the UK and Ireland. As Muslims we believe that Allah (God) has commanded Mankind to stand up for Justice even if it be against our own selves. It has been a long standing objective of FOSIS to campaign and lobby concerning the pertinent causes of our time. It is the aim of the FOSIS Campaigns Committee to champion the universal rights and duties revealed for human beings by God. Our objective is to change the current social and international order which is based on selfish interest to one based on truth, justice, righteousness and generosity.
