| Introduction | My love of cooking began when I was a child. My mother, a wonderful cook herself, taught me the alphabet with our herbs and spices. A is for Anise, B is for Basil, C is for Chives..... I like to taste food at every stage. Sometimes that got me into trouble. Other times, it led to fascinating discoveries. And some not so fascinating. I’m a Southern girl, born and bred. Making homemade mayonnaise can be done in my sleep. I can think of a lot of other things I’d rather do than make homemade mayo, but in a pinch, I can do it. I have a soul mate who loves food and is not afraid to try anything once. In my wildest dreams I never thought I’d do a food blog. But there are a lot of people who have inspired me to achieve my goals and my dreams. Especially Groom. So I feed him. |
