| Introduction | How much of a "Car Guy" am I? Well, besides being an enthusiast, I'm both a full-time automotive technician in a busy independent repair shop and a published automotive journalist. That "Car Guy" enough? I have loved cars since I've been old enough to know what they were. Always wanted to design or engineer them, but lacked strong enough math or art skills to make that happen. Discovered out of necessity that I was pretty good at fixing them, and along the way I've proved that I'm at least passable at writing about and evaluating them, even providing Canada's largest daily newspaper with content for 13 years. Who knew? It turns out that I'm also a halfway competent photographer - unless otherwise noted, all of the pictures on this site are mine. You'll find the results of my day job cruising the streets of Southern Ontario. As for the writing? Well, at the moment, I'm working on that... |
