Interests | My main hobby is to participate in amateur races and timed events with the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and other clubs, mostly in northern California. |
Favorite Movies | MOVIES: Mostly comedy or action. From Best in Show, Meet the Parents, Ratatouille and Bee Movie to Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean and Jaws. TV: Dramas like Lost and all versions of CSI are fun. The witty dialog in early West Wing and Housewives episodes was fun too. Jay Leno's monologues and his Headlines and Jaywalking are good ways to unwind a full day. The rest of the time is PBS, Discovery Channel and the like. Engineering Marvels is a good show. Jon Stewart who has segments tagging along CNN International is fun to watch when abroad. |
Favorite Music | Classical and Pops. Some ethnic too, Hawaiian and Latin American. |
Favorite Books | Books: Anything about energy and engineering, with The Economist, Consumer Reports and some car and home improvement magazines thrown in the mix. |
