| Introduction | I am 55 (loving it!), divorced (loving that too!), and a mother of two young adults. I am hard of hearing (caused by genetics), have suffered with a bad back since I was ten years old (also caused by genetics) and have been overweight most of my life (can I blame genetics?!).
After seven back surgeries, a fusion at two levels, nerve damage and surviving MRSA twice, I was heavier than ever before and was told by my doctors that I was going to spend my life in a wheelchair. I made the decision to take control and prove them wrong. I got up off of my rear-end and I started walking... one painful step at a time. Over the past few years I have accomplished much more than I ever believed possible. I continue to push and challenge myself just to see how far I can go. Life on the move is so much better on my own two feet! ;) WATCH OUT WORLD... THERE ARE NO LIMITS! |
