About me

Location Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand
Introduction The library is the hub of the school here at King's High School, the library is also the place to come for careers information. We have about 700 students here and they are all boys, apart from 20 or so Queens High Students who come here for some classes. The library is a very busy place, it is a popular place to be at lunchtime and interval, mostly because it is warm! But also because it has lots of cool stuff to read, a bank of computers to use, and lots of spaces for students to do their homework or to chat with other guys. The librarian is Ms Schaumann and she loves the library and buys all the coolest stuff she can afford. Some people think she has read all the books in the library! We pride ourselves on having a warm and welcoming atmosphere all our students will find interesting things here, it is a something for everyone kind of place. We want our students to enter the world with inquiring minds and the library is the perfect place to begin inquiring.
