| Introduction | When someone is labelled as an atheist - several people have the misconception of the fact that we're all skinheads, satanists, and are generally bad people.
This is not true at all. Just because we do not believe in a higher being does not by any means make us any worse or better than a believer. Need specific examples? Here are a few (very) successful people - that are quite influencial - and are part of the atheist community. - Warren Buffett - Mark Zuckerberg (creator of Facebook) - Lance Armstrong (world famous cyclist - 7-time winner of Tour de France) - John Lennon (founder of the Beatles) - Barack Obama Sr. (President-elect's father) - Stephen Hawking (regarded as one of the most intelligent people of all time for his scientific contributions) There is nothing wrong with being an atheist. My purpose of this blog is to spread the word on the impact that believing in no god can have on one's life. Just try it. What have you got to lose? After all, if you just can't do it - you can always start believing agian. |
