Introduction	I remember it specifically. When I was growing up, I asked my parents for something to do. I was bored. My mom's reply was something like "The vacuum is in the closet..." My dad said something along the lines of having me rake leaves. My reply was "No, I want to BUILD something!" I must have been around 8 years old at the time. That feeling never left me. After finally constructing my own log bed one summer, some friends asked if I would make one for them. It kept happening again and again. And I was in business. Since then, I've moved around and worked various other jobs to support my woodworking habit. As time goes on, I find my focus shifting to finer woodworking. The sight of dovetails get me worked up with excitement. I still haven't lost the desire to build with an eye for the rough grain lines and natural form, and I try to incorporate these elements into my work when I can.
Interests	Fly fishing, woodworking, firefighting, paramedic medicine, fire pits, microbrews, mountains, scotch, running and fitness.
