| Introduction | Susan has been drawing and painting since she can rememberÂ. She studied art, biology, and botany at California State University, Long Beach, earning a degree in Art with a focus on Biomedical Illustration. Working in a realistic manner, Susan uses acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and printmaking to capture images inspired by nature. Finding a spot outdoors to hang out with her paints is one of her most favorite things to do. Susan’s work has appeared in several juried exhibitions and galleries across the U.S., and she has designed and painted more than a dozen murals for public and private venues. Having not achieved fame as a rock star, to earn money to buy paint, canvases, and paper, she has a day job as a communications director for a nonprofit. |
