| Introduction | On the east coast, a friend is riding her bicycle on the board walk. In Texas, a friend teases about driving the rag top and the warm air. Arizona offers notes from a snow bird as she walks before it gets too warm. We are heroes in this upper midwest as we rejoice in simply seeing pavement. Yet, all of us together, enjoy the stories of our history whether we put them in a blog or not. Most of us can read others journals and bob our heads in agreement. It is a small world, after all.
