Introduction	I am so glad that you've stopped by to see me. I am happily married to my Hubbie, Rich, for 42 years. We have two wonderful adult children, Amy and John, and Amy's two wonderful children & our beautiful grandkids, Lexi & Brand. I was borne in Oxnard, CA., in 1951, and we lived there until 2003,when Rich & I decided to move up to Tehachapi and start a business up here. Rich & I are owners of our construction company, "Pacific Crest Remodlers" & our kitchen cabinetry business, "The Oaks Designer Kitchens & Baths," of which I am also secretary. We love life, I love going to see our kids & grandkids, who are all living in Colorado now, and I love people. I have a deep place in my heart for the "Unborn," for all children, for our Special Needs Communities, and for the Elderly. I thank the Lord daily for the blessings in which He has bestowed upon our lives, and I hope that you enjoy checking out my blogs and please feel free to leave your thoughts also! Interests	I love reading; writing ~ both poetry and opinions; music ~ singing in choirs and playing the piano; attending plays & concerts; sewing; cross-stitching; taking trips with my hubbie; I absolutely love to go on at least 1 week long cruises; I love traveling and seeing all the different parts of our wonderful world surrounding us, and hearing the magical music of all nature blending together in it's fullness. I hope to one day take a 2 week cruise to Alaska. ;) I have a great interest in the elderly and the unborne, I really do love people; I love just being alone in quiet places to think & pray, I love being beside the ocean ... especially in the evenings watching the sunset and hearing the waves hitting the beach, I so miss living just 3 miles from the beach which I did all of my life until our move here to Tehachapi; walking w/friends, biking, being with my friends & family, altogether enjoying life as my Father God brings each day anew to me; and ... of course, I'm one of those "shop til you drop" gals! And I absolutely love "second hand stores"!! I am an activist in bettering our childrens education, and I enjoy being a caller on talk shows which are actively supporting the things which I believe in! ;)
Favorite movies	Dramas, Comedy, Adventure, Movies of the yesteryear ~ such as "Anne of Green Gables," "Little Women," "Life With Father," and many of the older movies that we can still enjoy today!
Favorite music	Soft Jazz, Christian, Country, Opera, Instrumental, Soft Rock; I really love going to hear concerts where I can soak up the joy & sounds of a voice, a group singing together, or a beautiful small instrumental or large symphony orchestra! I miss having my piano with me very, very much since our move up to Tehachapi!:( I am so very blessed that the Lord has given me the ability to see, hear, and thoroughly enjoy all the beautiful sounds ... it is those things, which we don't realize how fortunate we are to have, that are such HUGE blessings in my life! I do miss my Ventura Missionary Celebration Choir, and I try my best to go down and join with them to sing each year at Christmas. Pastor Mike is a phenominal Minister of Music, and there are NOT many like him! We have a great orchestra that plays with us, and I miss my choir family dearly! I love hearing folks who sing from their hearts ... not just to be heard. ;)
Favorite books	My dear Holy Bible, and Bibles which belonged to my Mom and were well written in; Clean enjoyable love stories; Christian books; Great Poetry; I enjoy arts/craft books; Choir specialty books; Gardening; Remodeling/Home Plans; Nature Books. I really love autobiographies & biographies, also.
