| Interests | We are celebrating the life of Smitty's mom, Betty Smith, who exhibited symptoms of advance senile dementia in her latter years, as did her mother Kate Walker. This Ride to Remember is in commemoration of her bright spirit, and to generate funds to provide support for those with Alzheimer's and their families, furthering the quest for a cure. We hope that by example we can encourage others in our cohort (boomers, et al) to get out and exercise, develop new interests, and engage in learning new skills...all of which helps fend off this insidious condition. Idleness is the brain killer - get our and DO SOMETHING! |
