| Introduction | After the completion of a PhD in nonfiction, I returned home to LA to shop for agents and publishers for my memoir, Daughter of Endtimes. This unpublished work is about being raised in LA by a survivalist father who prepared me for the end of civilization. With no progress in the publishing direction thus far, a question arose: how can one make a writing project about not being able to sell one's writing project?
