Introduction	I'm a painter living in Asheville, NC with my husband, Ian and my son, Sam. I worked in publishing for many years and towards the end of that career I was taking the slow lane into work everyday. I didn't care if I was inhaling the fumes of a semi if it meant I would get to work later. Each day my soul seemed a little heavier. In 2002, my amazing husband helped me realize that not only was I miserable at work, I was miserable when I wasn't there just thinking about going back. So, after a few freakouts, I left the publishing world to study color psychology, and, during my course work, discovered my true passion...painting. I am now a full-time artist and it's the greatest feeling in the world. I spent many years not knowing what I wanted to do and going to different jobs that didn't make me happy. I feel extremely blessed to have found what I want to do (even if it took me a while). After living in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles I'm currently happy living in Asheville, NC.
