| Introduction | I am a 'Southerner' at heart as I transferred to Kansas about 20 years ago for what I thought was a temporary 'gig' and now it appears I will be pushing up 'Daisies' in Kansas. I thought I was 'upgrading' on sports, but while I was gone the Atlanta Braves went to the World Series several times and even the Falcons made it to the Super Bowl...Meanwhile, in K.C. I sat through one disappointing cold post season after another with the KC Chiefs..Long live 1969 and Super Bowl 4!!!! At any rate, at least I met my 'Better Half' in Kansas so not all is lost!!! |
