| Introduction | This blog is named after Johnnie LeMaster, a shortstop for the SF Giants from 1975-1985. Johnnie became synonymous with everything wrong with Giants baseball during that era, some of it was deserved, like his untimely defensive errors. However, if you look at his stats, he wasn't that bad of a shortstop. Perhaps being the 6th overall pick (Giants #1 pick) in the first round of the 1973 amateur draft added undue expectations to Johnnie.
