| Introduction | I'm married to the most wonderful, loving, patient, kind, and giving husband. After eight years of teaching elementary music, I quit to embark on a journey toward motherhood. My husband and I traveled to Istanbul, Turkey, in September 2010 to under go a cycle of IVF in hopes of conceiving our first child together. We thought for sure it would work, but unfortunately it did not. It was one of the most devastating things we have ever experienced. At first we didn't know if we even wanted to try IVF again, but after much thought and saving we have decided to go at it again. In June, we under went our second IVF attempt. For IVF #2, we used the Dallas branch of the Sher Institute of Reproductive Medicine. We found out on June 27 that we were finally PREGNANT! Our baby is due March 5! |
