Introduction	I grew up not eating pork and then eventually, I came to college and the meat in the dining halls was less than satisfactory. For over a year, I was a vegetarian. In combination with that, I read multiple books and watched documentaries on the conditions of American farms and how there is a constant worry about who will be the next generation growing our food. Also, as a civil engineering student, I have taken many classes on green engineering, urban planning, and water resources. So, through food systems, I've searched for ways to promote sustainable agriculture activism on my college campus. It's fun, challenging, and an a continuously evolving environment.
