| Introduction | I am a senior in high school and after graduating I plan to study political science and government. This may take me into the field of public office or political commentary. Politics has been a passion of mine for several years, due mostly to my mom and brother's knowledge of current events; which was what first introduced me to the world of politics. I consider myself a hard-core conservative, but believe that my Christian faith transends any political affiliation. I am a Christian first and foremost. My dad and mom have been the main influences in my life. They have taught me how to stand firm in my political beliefs while rooting myself in an even firmer Biblical foundation. My brother has also been a great help to me in learning to articulate my political beliefs. Also, though he'll hate me for saying it, Josh has been a great influence and colleague, I am very grateful that I have the opportunity to contribute to ConciseConservatism with a guy whom I greatly respect. |
