| Introduction | Originally I started this blog because I thought it was a great way to keep friends and family up to date with our lives. It is also a fabulous way to advocate for my son Tristan. Today my main objective is I hope New Mom's or Mom's with prenatal diagnoses will stumble upon this and see how fantastic my son is. I hope they will be more informed than I was and be less afraid. I have 3 children Justin 23, Chanelle 12 and Tristan is 7. Tristan was born with an extra Chromosome on his 21st pair. Prior to having Tristan in my life I knew absolutely nothing about Down Syndrome. I thought if I shared Tristan more people could become aware that Down Syndrome isn't a bad thing. Yes having Down Syndrome makes Tristan different but the definition of different doesn't equal anything negative. |
