| Introduction | All of my research and proposals are grounded in the concept of vulnerability, as an irrefutable reference. This allows me to understand fragility, and to try to show its roots in the origin of human nature. The images that I use replay the refractory functions of a mirror, a device which offers to the public images of collective awareness such as my own, in order to multiply the diversity of glances at, and even the many points of view about, the human condition. I try to construct and deconstruct the structure of human conflict and its context, in order to decipher symbols that could not show the descriptive formulas, involving factors such as control and impulses, creating a visual burden which can guide the viewer towards self-recognition and its confrontation with the loss of logic in the relationships between people from diverse social contexts, as well on facts that can cause isolation, imbalance, disorientation and self-surrender to daily pressures. My work is seeking ways to show the essence of each one of the spectators, dealing with the diversity of symbols that influences daily life, proposing a possible reconstruction of fragile worlds through the creative thinking. |
