Introduction	2016 marks the 11th year that Tom and I have lived in Bend OR. I find the use of the word "retirement" to describe this stage of my life is not at all appropriate. I feel quite the opposite in that I feel vitally involved in living, learning more and more on many levels, following my curiosity into new realms, experiencing healthy food and a healthy body, and the grounding of the natural world that is so easily accessible here. Learning to accept the inevitable changes coming with a rapidly growing city, is challenging but has not lessened our gratitude about coming here when we did. In spite of the title of this Blog, the truth is that the more I think I know, the more I realize how much I don't know. Don't believe everything you think!! It's an exciting time!
