Introduction	Originally from MN, I moved to LA in '96. I teach high school health including topics like lifestyle diseases, nutrition, safety, alcohol and drug use, and where babies come from.
Interests	education, hockey, tennis, my kids, NPR, and um... writing!
Favorite movies	Idiocracy, Pleasantville,Kissing Jessica Stein, Ironman, the (new) Mummy movies, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Get Him to the Greek and Guardians of the Galaxy!
Favorite music	All kinds, including The Offspring, Green Day and 80's new wave. I also like to listen to celtic folk music, and new age crap.
Favorite books	authors include Dan Brown, Dean Koontz, and Lee Child
