| Introduction | I have loved fashion since I was a little girl. When I was ten I learned how to knit and was given a Crayola Fashion Design Kit. I guess you could say that the was the beginning of the end! Eventually I went to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and got a degree in Fashion Design. I worked in the clothing industry for 8 years, and it was during that time that I started seriously knitting. I wasn't happy with the designs that I saw in magazines and books and decided to start making my own. Now I am a full-time handknit designer and happy that I have a very portable career that goes hand in hand with being a military spouse. |
