| Introduction | Husband and father of five; cradle Catholic; 10th year as teacher and administrator at the junior high level by profession; theologian by training and desire. My beautiful five young children are aged 7 to a half year old. I have a BA in theology, philosophy, and the great books, and a MA in theology both from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. I began a Ph.D. in New Testament at Loyola University, Chicago, but I left it to enter Saint Michael's Abbey in Orange County, CA. I plan to turn this blog into a book. The spark for my main theory came from my favorite teacher and mentor in college, Scott Hahn. I lived with Scott's family for six months during the summer and first semester of my senior year. One day he mentioned a theory held by some Church Fathers. I started pondering and researching to see if it had merit. Before I knew it, I had been swept off my feet. There were days where I hardly slept as I made connection after connection. Everything I knew and understood about the Catholic faith and the bible fit together in a perfect harmony for the first time. That was 1992, and I haven't stopped pondering it. Please pray for me as I write. |

Well, maybe they don't need them, but don't you think that some fish might like a bicycle?
No. God creates each of His creatures for a pupose, and fish and bikes no go together. What goes together, however, is mankind and God; we are made to be God's house, His temple, His very spouse. He asks you, "Will you marry me?" He waits for your response.
