Introduction	After growing up in church, I was 13 when I felt as if I was hearing the news for the first time -- God loved me so much that He gave His Son to die in my place, and because of that, if I just believed in Him my sin wouldn't separate me from him, but instead I would be able to relate to him forever as my father. I was so happy and so touched by his overwhelming love for me! And so relieved that he would never turn his back on me. Even though I already thought I was a Christian, I always doubted my salvation. After I prayed and told him that I wanted his forgiveness for my sins, and that I wanted to have a relationship with him forever, I felt like a weight had come off my shoulders.
