Introduction	I am a senior banker with over 20 years of experience in banking and financial markets. I am a CFA charterholder since 2006 and I hold the title of Doctor of Economics, with specialization in international finance. I have 5-year experience as a Senior Options Dealer with ING Bank where I helped started the bank derivatives business in Romania and over 7-year experience in risk management. Previously, I had been a Senior Economist in the Research Department of the National Bank of Romania for about 6 years. I am also an Associate Professor with DOFIN – Doctoral School of Finance, where I teach subjects such as econometrics, financial markets, derivatives, fixed income and risk management. Between 2011 - 2013, I was the president of the Association of Financial-Banking Analysts in Romania and for the last 11 years I have been a member of the CFA Romania Board of Directors, as well as the association’s President in 2009-2011 and 2015 - 2020.
