Introduction	I was born and lived most of my childhood in Virginia. (I did live in a tiny Michigan town for 3.5 years as an elementary school student.) I went to college at Virginia Tech for 2 years, then transferred to Virginia Commonwealth University and got my BS in psychology. Returned to Va Tech for grad school for a year, worked a few odd jobs, then got into college and commercial radio in Blacksburg, VA. Was there a few years, got a job at a radio station in Roanoke, VA. Became a program director. Got engaged to another radio program director and moved to Lawrence, KS. Lived there for a while, got divorced, moved to San Diego, CA. Got a radio PD job in Albuquerque, NM. Lived there a while, moved back to VA briefly then moved to Salt Lake City, UT for another radio PD job. A year later I got another radio PD job in Austin, TX. Left full-time radio in 2006 and have been generating commercial and marketing copy for an Sensory Branding company. Did a weekend airshift at an alternative station in Austin for about a year. Published a cookbook the summer of 2008. Moved back to Virgina in July of 09 and am working as a freelance copywriter.
Interests	Cooking, movies, wine, socializing with friends.
Favorite movies	Almost Famous, Fisher King, High Fidelity, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (I like the original better), School of Rock (I wish I could teach a class where I could show the relationship of each seminal band to its spawn!), Unbreakable, SLC Punk, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Manchurian Candidate (ORIGINAL VERSION), Sixteen Candles, Gigi, Meet Joe Black, Matrix Trilogy, Elizabeth, Pleasantville, Road Trip, Ocean's 11, Princess Bride, Amelie, Waitress, Waiting, Grandma's Boy, The Puffy Chair...a bunch more and always interested in watching someone's recommendation.
