Served as Field Open Source Officer (FOSO) in the anti terrorism desk for FBIS in Bangkok. Worked for the Embassy of the United States in Bangkok and Jakarta for three years, political researcher for a number of institutions, Assessment Groups International, SGP, and COPI. Long time member of the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), American Chamber of Commerce (Amcham), and the Jakarta Analyst Forum.
