About me

Introduction	I have been homebrewing for over ten years. My brother and I joined forces several years ago and have brewed over 150 batches together . Since 2007, we have entered numerous Seattle area competitions winnings over 50 ribbons and nine best-of show medals with a variety of ales and lagers. We were the 2009 Washington Homebrewers of the Year and are two-time winners of the Bert Grant Award (2008 and 2009). We have had our recipes scaled-up and brewed professionally by Michelob Brewing Co. (St. Louis, MO), Powerhouse Brewery (Puyallup, WA) and Big Al Brewing (Seattle, WA). In 2009, I took and passed the Beer Judge Certification Exam and currently rank as national. In 2012, the American Homebrewers Association (AHA) chose our American brown ale recipe (Bucksnort Brown Ale) for their big brew day. I am a member of the Greater Everett Brewers League (GEBL), a large homebrew club based out of Everett, WA.
