| Introduction | Maldon is a small town in central Victoria in south-eastern Australia. Behind the town is Mt Tarrangower. In reality, it is a large forested hill which rises to 560 meters above sea level. The surrounding countryside is a mixture of forest reserve and small farms. The population of the town and region is around two thousand five hundred. Whenever possible, I travel in regional Australia and also spend time in the capital cities of Melbourne and Sydney and with rare visits to Canberra, Brisbane and Adelaide. |
