| Introduction | I am a fanboy from WAAAYYY back. I grew up watching cartoons(anime)and reading a lot of comic books. My love of Japanese animation is still pretty strong as I gravitate to any show that has mecha and fanservice in it. Gundam, Macross and anything from the demented mind of Go Nagai are what I buy and collect. As for comics, I'm a Marvel comics fan through and through as I've mainly read "X-Men" and "Avengers"-related titles. Nowadays, I keep my X-Title collection growing and collect Gundam models, Macross mecha along with Cutie Honey-related merchandise. Then there are the conventions...I LOVE going to conventions...Whether it be anime, comic or sci-fi (and local)...I'm there. I like meeting other fans, meeting the artists (creators, voice actors, etc.), taking pictures of cosplayers, finding those "hard-to-find" items in the dealer's room and basking in the geeky glow of otakudom/fandom. |
