IntroductionI'm nervous about sharing my thoughts on life but love the idea of jotting down events as soon as they happen, for fear that I might forget them. Which I usually do! Kind friends and family have said 'You should write a book!' - absolutely no idea how to even begin that process, not to mention where I would find the time/funds - so I chose to tell my cute, silly, funny, random stories via blog. Basically, I tell tales on my children. The main reason for my blog is to have somewhere to save good memories and tough ones, then moving on with a smile on my face. I can imagine myself in a few years, reading forgotten anecdotes to my future grown up children (currently preschool and primary school ages), reminding myself how blessed I am and cheering myself up on my bad days. Even if it's stressful and hard to share, I also want to open up about rarely spoken about topics close to my heart, in the hope that I can help and give hope to friends. In turn, possibly helping my own recovery by being honest with myself and writing my feelings down. Perhaps friends will nod and smile on their difficult days too. I hope you enjoy reading my ramblings as much as I enjoy writing them.
InterestsMaking cards, spending time with family and friends, being creative with photographs and pictures and creating special memories.
Favorite moviesOriginal Pink Panther films! Always! :D
Favorite musicCurrent favourites include Josh Groban, Fleetwood Mac, John Mayer, The Cranberries, Carole King. I enjoy a bit of everything :D
Favorite booksTried reading North & South by Elizabeth Gaskell. Great read. Slow at the start but the detail and story line is really good. Currently reading a Yearbook about real-life experiences of missionaries and volunteers, trying to save lives. Encouraging and inspiring.

You're trapped in a well with a goat and a slinky. Describe how you will escape.

Ask the goat to bleat really loudly. Hope for a passerby to hear. Amuse myself by teaching the goat how to make a bracelet out of the slinky. Hope for another passerby to throw down some chocolate as I might be getting low and hungry. Oh and I might call my husband so I could borrow one of his ladders...
