Introduction	Have you ever read "1000 Places To See Beofre You Die" by Patricia Schultz? I'm a big list person and I love traveling, so this book appealed to me from the get-go. However, I was somewhat disappointed when I learned that the author hadn't actually DONE all the things in the book. As she puts it, this is her "dream list" after doing 7 years of research. Regardless, I've been widdling my way through this book, checking things off as I go. Sometimes I would do something and wonder why the heck that made the list and other times I would do something and wonder why in the world that didn't make the list! And then it hit me.... I needed to make my own list. A list of things I've actually done, actually experienced and actually seen with my own eyes. A list of unforgettable experiences I'm glad I did. A list I hope my children will use as their checklist. So.... here goes!
