| Introduction | This blog focuses mostly on the production design (wardrobe, set decor, hairstyling, etc.) of films that contain vintage (1930s-50s) or victorian (late 1800s) aesthetics. This includes both films set in or made during those eras. Sometimes I like to mix in slightly more contemporary stuff too.
And while I do have strong opinions about films in general, I will spare you any sort profound critical analysis on the ones I post about because there are hundreds of other film blogs out there already devoted to that kind of thing. This is -above all- just a blog about fabulous style and design. Also, these screencaps are used solely for the purpose of discussion, education, and inspiration. These images are not intended for any commercial purpose. They are also free for you to use on your own blogs but since capturing them took me a great deal of time and effort, I'd would appreciate it if you linked back to me as the source. Thanks!
