Introduction I've DJ'd parties for the past seven years and it has given me a lot of stories to tell, some I wish I could replay.
Favorite Movies How I got started. My first gig was for a friend’s 21st birthday party. All I had were two brand new numark TT500s, a $200 mixer, a walmart radio that just happen to have RCA inputs, and about five crates of records. I had purchased the records from a DJ in Tallahassee named DJ J-Will, he’s the one who had Wednesday nights at Top Flite really popping from ’01 to around ’03 along with DJ Saxwell. We were in the same major and I would kick it with him in the booth while he would DJ the club that night and really kill it! He is from Fort Worth, Texas and had been DJ’d since he was around 13-14 years old, and at the time he was around 27, in other words he had skills and I learned from the best! The party ended up having somewhere around 100 people crammed into an apartment; you know a FAMU/college apartment party. It went down to say the least, I was hooked from gig 1. ety of events for about 5 years. But now I am trying to reach out past Florida just to see how I got my start doing college house parties while attending Florida A&M University. So when I graduated I didn't want to stop the party and here I am.
