Introduction	I am a 61yr old woman new to this blog thing so don't really know what I'm doing yet, so bear with me if things go wrong. I am looking forward to my retirement in 2014 and spending more time with my grandson seeing more of my family and friends and being able to have time to myself to indulge in my favourite pastimes..
Interests	Reading, writing, travel, film, drinking good wine and the occasional real ale, history, family history, meeting up with mates, music anything except opera and country and western.
Favorite music	Tom Waits, John Tams, Patti Smith, that's just for starters, it alters all the time but Tom is a big big favourite, anyone who knows me knows that;-)
Favorite books	Titus Groan, Gormanghast, Any Patrick O'Brian Aubrey/Maturin book, Any Bernard Cornwell book,Anne Perry,and C.J Sansom and Simon Scarrow at the moment.
