| Introduction | My first middle grade novel GLORY BE, will be published in January, 2012. It was sold to Andrea Pinkney at Scholastic by my amazing agent Linda Pratt. GLORY BE takes place in a town not unlike the one I grew up in, in the Mississippi Delta, during the summer of 1964. I am a former librarian who reviews books, primarily for Delta Magazine (about all things Southern) and The Christian Science Monitor (mostly middle-grade and YA fiction). |
