Introduction	So,me and the family have had our land roughly 3 years now. As I come across each fresh challenge in this lifestyle I keep thinking 'surely it's not just me this kind of stuff happens to?' And though more fond of pen and paper than this sort of thing I figured (for sanitys sake) to give it a go, get a blog and see if anyone, at all, out there wants to hear how life on the land really is when you come from the city....! Born and bred from inner city Liverpool, moved to the South around 12 years ago and never looked back - life has moved more and more rural and though it is this challenge that provoked this blog, I can tell you that for every snapped nail, aching calf from flat boots, dirty old clothes and doing glamorous things like mucking out my pigs (instead of being at a cocktail lounge in Mayfair all dolled up...) I wouldn't change it for the world and every time I hear a Buzzard call or see a deer run past and see the sheer pleasure on my daughters face I am reminded that I am truly the luckiest person in the world...
