Introduction	I am a student at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington, working on a Bachelor of Musical Arts degree with a minor in English writing. I grew up on Bainbridge Island, Washington, living there for the first eighteen years of my life. I’m not sure what I want to pursue as a profession but I am considering being some sort of music journalist. That is part of the reason why I have made this blog. I play the trumpet, guitar, bass and piano. I'm not amazing at any of them but trumpet is my main focus in school, along with composition. The one thing I'm certain of these days is my passion for music. I was in a band in high school called Soundproof Highway where I played bass and wrote songs. I also have composed for chamber ensembles and have recorded rock music with my own equipment. Check out "My Music" under the banner. I work in the PLU library and as a broadcaster for home baseball and softball games. I am a huge Mariners' fan and was partially inspired by ussmariner.com to create this blog. I hope you enjoy my work here. My goal is to share my excitement about music with anyone who will listen. Any feedback is HUGELY appreciated.
