| Introduction | Hi, I'm "Uncle Ralph". You can call me Del. I am a business consultant, executive, entrepreneur, writer, runner, golfer, photographer, proud father and grandfather. Engineer and MBA with experience in the corporate world (Alcan & AES Data) and as an entrepreneur (TTX Computer Products, DirectTech Solutions). Six years with Coopers and Lybrand consulting, eight years growing a distribution business from zero to $20 million, several other start-ups and now consulting to owner-managed businesses. "Uncle Ralph" is a little bit of me and my father plus all the best managers and all the lessons I've ever learned about management. Coincidentally, Ralph is my secret middle name and was my father's first name. Uncle Ralph is much wiser than me and has more experience than I could possibly have lived through myself. Uncle Ralph's interest is to share his ideas, experience and advice with other executives, entrepreneurs and managers to help improve their businesses and their lives. Of course I will also learn something in the process and look forward to sharing that too. |
