| Introduction | I am a wife, mom, daughter, sister, artist and crafter. My husband and I have three children. In this blog I hope to journal our life and adventures. Our children are adopted and suffer special needs due to their birth families. I have endured the trials of Crohn's disease for most of my life. I love vintage, Victorian and shabby chic. I am a fiber addict. I love to crochet, weave, spin, sew, cross-stitch and embroider. I have been painting for most of my life. I have taught both privately and as a student teacher to both disabled and abled. I could not survive without paint, paper, pencils, pens and my trusty scissors. I LOVE to scrapbook and yes I even taught that for a while too. I love my family and live for them. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. I could not imagine my life without my Savior or faith. I hope to share some of the wisdom learned in the school of hard knocks. I turned 50 this year even though most people think I am much younger. I am friendly, but shy around strangers. I would love to meet new people with common interest and even a few that will help me stretch my horizions. |
