Introduction I was born in Minneapolis, in the year of the boar! My first pet was a turtle named Phil. I am a member of Greenpeace. I was a brownie, girl scout, sold the most cookies and ate half of them myself. When I was 8 my family moved to Japan. My sister and I used to peek over the wall at the Emperor's Summer Palace. I went to junior high and part of high school in the bay area, my junior and senior year and college in Bonita and San Diego. I say I am "from" the bay area. I lived in Skien, Norway 9 years, and traveled Europe. Geiranger Fjord, and Galhøypiggen are my favorite places. I've met Joan Rivers,Liberace,Bob Seger, the Kinks, and rode in an elevator at the Bloomington Marriott with the Oakridge Boys. ;o My collie barks when I play U2. I still sing into my hairbrush in front of my mirror to Fleetwood Mac. I bought Fabio's book just for the cover art. Elvis Costello stared me down singing "Spooky Girlfriend" at the Rockefeller last year in Oslo, it was the highlight of my year! ;o I was very flattered! I watch Sponge Bob, The Travel Channel, and Animal Planet.

Try making up the rules to a game where you tie knots in a yo-yo string just to see if you can get them out:

Make sure yoyo is an old beat up one with dry beat up yoyo string. This will make it all the more challenging. Beginning at the base of the yoyo, make a fisherman's eye knot. The fisherman's eye is also known as the middleman's knot. "The 2 knots will slide together and jam when strained, hence it is great for carrying loads" Also try the double figure eight. Go Brownies!
