Introduction	My name is Kristina, and I’m the brains for better or for worse at www.OnBlank.com. Though my shortcomings are many, I’m becoming a better cook. I think everybody deserves the almost spiritual pleasure of not only eating but creating a good meal. Somehow we've let cooking "from scratch" mean some elitist act that the average busy person can't pull off. And I think that is terribly incorrect. I believe we all can put something great on the table (and not be a narcissist about it either). I also believe that the way to being debt-free has a lot to do with taming grocery and dining-out budgets. I'm delighted to find that my increasing skills in the kitchen are bringing my grocery spending down. (Well, the culinary successes are; it's never exactly frugal to dump a disaster down the sink. And that's not exactly rare.)
