| Introduction | I moved to Southern California about 6 years ago to become a special education teacher. I taught in Detroit for 1 year (not the right place for me!!) then taught in a suburban private school for a year and found out that was also not somewhere I wanted to work for the next 30 years and then on a whim decided to move to So Cal. I had only been up to Northern California and figured why not?? So here I am! I currently teach high school special education for Palm Springs Unified and share the duties of department chair with another teacher since we have such a large department. I am taking this class to learn more about the effective use of technology in my classroom and to help other teachers at my site do the same effectively. |
