| Introduction | What is art? ... many book try to give an answer, but my own answer come when I was very little, 5-6 years old, as something to play with or as my imaginary world. So, the game grew up and become maturely beginning with the 5th grade at an Art College when I learnt about the secrets of painting, colors and drawing. The ambition and the perseverance to learn more made me to go to many competitions and winning. After that I followed the Painting Class at the University of Art, so it had completed my knowledge in painting technique. Now I am following a Master at University of Art in Iasi, Romania as theory and interdisciplinary of art. During my Bachelor Studies I obtained an ERASMUS scholarship in Nykarleby at Novia University of Applied Science, Finland. The desire to know more about Finland brought me at Stundars, where I discovered old traditional crafts. The connection I had with this place, made me to come back as an artist in residence. During my stay I developed a project as a series of oil paintings inspired by the spirit of place. |
