| Introduction | Hello. My name is Angela. I am happily married to my best friend and my “forever love” and we have a wonderful 15 year old son. We have a 5 year old black Rock, named Rocky. I received my BSN from NC A&T State University in Greensboro, NC and I have been a nurse for 23 years. I have truly experienced a rewarding nursing career. I have worked a variety of nursing areas including psychiatry, pediatrics, medical, surgical, home health, emergency, and ICU. One of the highlights in my life is that I volunteer my nursing services and have traveled to Honduras, CA for a weekly medical mission trip for 10 years. My next mission trip (11th) will be in February 2012. For the past 5 years, I have worked in clinical research. Currently, I am seeking a Master of Science Degree in Nursing Informatics from Kaplan University. I have designed this blog as an Informatics Instructor to enhance my graduate course material. |
