| Introduction | I am on the precipice of the fourth quarter of my life. I am a book lover who prefers non-fiction though I was once a voracious reader of mysteries. Some things I love: a tangled garden, a glass of cold milk, a hammock of trees against the sky, the odor of Confederate jasmine, swimming. As I am sensitive to the most fleeting expression on the countenance of the other, I get early warning when boredom sets in, which it often does when I try to talk about the subjects in which I am interested for few people in my "live" circle share those interests. I am hoping, via this blog, to reach out and have lively conversations with compatibles. |
