Introduction	I was born and raised in Lima, Peru, by a Catholic mother and a Jewish father . . . and attended a Methodist school! So, me and religion are like oil and vinegar! :) As far as I can remember, I have always been in love with food and cooking. My mom and my paternal grandmother were fabulous cooks and I must have inherited my "cooking genes" from them!
Interests	Hmmm . . . my interests depend mainly on my mood and whatever makes me happy on a particular day: reading, cooking, moving the furniture around and decorating, playing on my computer, watching movies, riding a bike, writing, gardening, listening to music, or scouring flee markets.

Favorite music	Nowadays I have a very eclectic taste when it comes to music . . . I usually listen all day long to Pandora (at www.pandora.com) and my favorites range from the 70s, smooth jazz, country, rock, Baroque to Brazilian music! :)
Favorite books	Anything written by Mario Vargas Llosa, Gabriel García Márquez, Isabel Allende, Ángeles Mastretta, Paulo Coelho, Alfredo Bryce Echenique, among others.
