| Introduction | Professional info: Jasjot Bhullar, MD, FAHA, practicing physician specializing and ABIM diplomate in internal medicine, kidney disease, hospice and palliative medicine. I graduated from Medical School in 2001. I am on the Faculty of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, Spartanburg Regional Palliative and Hospice medicine fellowship program. I strive to practice medicine with a holistic approach. I want to start the revolution of promoting healing in modern medicine and inspire all to engage the healer in us. Through my writing, I want to inspire the reader into contemplation of practicing medicine with a healing approach. I task medical practitioners in supporting patients through chronic medical illness. Getting doctors/health care professionals and patients out of routine of “doing” to “being” in the healing state. I wish to write and speak about my own lessons in the art of medicine. I feel blessed to be in this profession as I get to grow and learn as I get older and more experienced in providing medical care and teaching medical practitioners in-training.
